For nearly 20 years, DentiCenter founder and president Dr. Juan Pablo Eng has been a dental tourism pioneer and an advocate for exemplary patient care. As a dental visionary and certified periodontist, Dr. Eng’s mission is to provide both U.S. and Mexico citizens with the same standards of modern dental excellence that are offered in the U.S. – at a more affordable rate.

Raised in Los Mochis, Sinaloa in Mexico, Dr. Eng has developed DentiCenter into the leading, full-service dental destination south of the border. He currently oversees a bilingual, expert staff of 34 dental, periodontal, orthodontic professionals and oral surgeons at DentiCenter’s six locations along the Mexican border.

Dr. Eng obtained his degree from the highly respected Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara dental school in 1980. After a year of social work in Mexico, Dr. Eng completed a fellowship at Becker & Becker Periodontics of Tucson, Ariz. Dr. Eng then completed his post-graduate work in periodontology at University of Southern California in 1984, and subsequently earned his certification in dental implants.

Dr. Eng is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, California Society of Periodontists, San Diego County Dental Society, Western Society of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, Asociacion Dental Mexicana, Asociacion Mexicana de Odontología, and the Colegio Dental del Norte de Sinaloa, A.C.

A frequent lecturer in Mexico and the U.S., Dr. Eng devotes a great deal of time to the bi-national community, serving as director of EEA Dental Support Services, a dental support center in Chula Vista, Calif. During his free time he enjoys traveling with his wife and children.
